Public Forum on Stadium Expansion—January 24

Members of the Rutgers Community:

A plan to expand and add seating to Rutgers Stadium is under development by the university administration and will soon be presented to the Rutgers Board of Governors for consideration. I invite you to attend a public forum to learn more about the proposed stadium expansion and to raise any questions or comments you may have about the project. The forum will take place on Thursday, January 24, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Livingston Student Center’s College Hall. This event is sponsored by the Rutgers University Senate, the New Brunswick Faculty Council, the Rutgers University Student Assembly, and the Rutgers administration.

At the forum, members of the administration and representatives of the athletic department will make a presentation on the expansion project and then take your comments and questions. Suggestions can also be emailed to stadium@oldqueens.rutgers.edu.

Your participation in this important discussion is welcome, and I look forward to seeing you on January 24.
