February 5, 2009

Members of the Rutgers Community:

Adam Graycar, dean of the School of Criminal Justice (SCJ) on the Newark Campus, will be leaving that position and returning to the faculty at the end of the current academic year. We will be initiating shortly the search for a new dean.

We want to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Graycar for his dedication, commitment, and hard work as leader of this important school. Dr. Graycar is well known internationally, and his leadership of the school has advanced its international visibility. He has also recruited several excellent new faculty members to SCJ. Please join us in thanking Adam for his service as dean, and in wishing him all the best in his new endeavors.
