Conference on Undergraduate Teaching

Dear Rutgers Faculty:

I wish to remind you of the upcoming New Brunswick Faculty Council Conference on Undergraduate Teaching on Wednesday, October 6, 2004, in the Rutgers Student Center, Multipurpose room, beginning at 9:00 a.m., and followed by lunch. I urge you to participate in this important event.

The focus of this year's conference is the work of the University Task Force on Undergraduate Education, a committee that is charged with examining all areas of the undergraduate experience in New Brunswick. The recommendations of this committee will be the beginning of an ongoing conversation that will shape the future of the institution, so I hope you will take this opportunity to hear about their work and contribute to this discussion on enhancing the academic experience of undergraduates.
